Handball @ St. Mary’s
St. Mary's is delighted to introduce handball to complement the range of sporting opportunities available to the pupils. Today the children watched and participated in an introduction of the game, its rules and how to get the best out of a game.
Children then had the chance to have a go at the sport and by the noise coming from the Sports Hall they had a ‘ball' (excuse the pun). Ronan (Tyrone County Board Coach) arranged the sporting afternoon and brought along Handball coach, Ryan and two young men Patrick McCrory and Gavin McCrystal from Dean Maguire College, Carrickmore who showed the children how to really play a match.
