Mary’s Meals – A simple solution to world hunger
Pat and Liam joined us this morning from Mary’s Meals to tell us about the amazing work being done to help this great cause.
Mary's Meals serves nutritious school meals to children living in some of the poorest countries. The promise of a school meal attracts these hungry children into the classroom, giving them the energy to learn and hope for a better future.
Mary's Meals are already feeding more than 2.4 million children every school day - and together, we can reach the next hungry child waiting for Mary's Meals.
This year during Lent the boys and girls will sell snacks each day with the proceeds going to Mary's Meals.
It costs £19.15 to feed one child for a whole school year.
