St Mary’s Primary school was delighted to learn that as a result of a funding application they are to run a two year After School project ‘as gaeilge’. The funding from Foras na Gaeilge will allow children from both Key Stage 1 and 2 to avail of Irish language and culture classes, exploring themes such as weather, greetings and local place names. The classes will commence early in Term 2 and last for 15 weeks. Funding was granted for two years.
